As we know children are very curious and love to try things but their curiosity can get them in a lot of trouble. It is a fact that a person can try alcohol for the first time and become hooked on it and Children are no exception. They do not always know the consequence of their behavior so they may think that there is no harm in taking a sip of alcohol therefore, they would try it. They can easily acquire a taste for it and the sad part is usually they were first introduced to it from their parents’ cabinets.

You want your children to win, not lose. You want them to experience the sweet feeling that comes with knowing they are the best. They are better than all of their competitors and peers, but more importantly, they are constantly bettering themselves. You want them to be nice to others and have a great social life, but you also want them to be winners who do what it takes to succeed in life.

A few of my thoughts on the children these days, especially those still young that absorb a lot of information, mostly from all the wrong sources, and how the internet along with technology prevents them from becoming more social and eager to learn. The fact that some become very introverted finding retreat in online games, instead of being active parts of the future society, contributing in their own way to the well-being of not only them, but the people that surround them, should also be a constant concern for the teachers, parents, tutors and so on.

My daughter is a loyal Santa fan. She has now written a wishing list for this Christmas. This year on her wishing list she asked presents for every one of us. New socks for Dad, a surprise for Mum (As I could not think of anything that I want from Santa), a two square ball for herself and a monopoly game for all of us.
