Microsoft Expression Web 4 Step by Step by author Chris Leeds is an incredible book for beginning web designers who are interested in learning to use Microsoft Expression Web 4 and who are interested in learning good web design techniques. Having never done any web design or development, I wasn’t too sure how to go about starting. I have always liked Microsoft products so I thought I would look into Microsoft’s Expression Web 4. When I first launched the application, I was a little intimidated, to say the least, with the complex looking interface. I had no idea where to start. Then I happened upon Chris Leeds’ book which basically took me step-by-step through the Expression Web 4 interface, explaining all the panels, menus, tools, and setting options.

I have just finished publishing a book entitled, “Learning Your Computer Through Pictures.” This book is fun and easy to use. You will learn how to create MS Word Documents, how to insert graphics and edit graphics, how to insert hyper-links, how to make slide show movies and upload to YouTube. Every instruction is presented with a screen capture so that all you need to do is follow the pictorial instructions and you will be an above average computer user. Here is a testimony from one of my readers: I am really amazed by the book, “Learning Your Computer Through Pictures.” This book is the easiest, simplest, and the clearest self-teaching textbook pertaining to computers that I have ever studied…

Book Review: Windows 7 – The Missing Manual by David Pogue. Windows has recently been going through a tough phase of its glorious legacy in the world of technology which it has dominated for the past few decades. Its internet Browser “internet explorer” is getting upstaged by other browsing engines like Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome while it also went through that fiasco of Vista which really was shockingly bad. So it was no surprise when I found myself holding onto XP and waiting for what else Microsoft would come up with.

Looking for something on the Internet and need more than the results you find with a quick Google or Bing search? If so, this might be just the book you are looking for. “The Extreme Searcher’s Internet Handbook: A Guide For The Serious Searcher” by Randolph Hock is touted as the essential guide for anyone who uses the internet for research – librarians, teachers, students, writers, business professionals, and others who need to search the web proficiently. The book provides strategies and tools (including search engines, portals, and social networks) for all major areas of internet content. The author explains how and when to go beyond the leading search engines and offers techniques for using Web 2.0 resources like Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Myspace, LinkedIn, and more.

Wallace Wang, best seller of My New Mac and My New iPhone for the No Starch Press publisher has written a new book detailing everything you need to know about the iPad in a book called “My New iPad: A User’s Guide.” No Starch Press provided a reviewer’s copy of “My New iPad: A User’s Guide” for this review.

Make no mistake. This book is not targeted for computer professionals. If you have a degree in Computer Science or just know a lot about computers, you won’t learn anything from this book. This book is targeted to children in the middle school age group, but it would also be a good introductory book for adults.

Take a look behind the scenes and you will understand… that’s the key point of this book. If you are not familiar with SharePoint in general, basic concepts or use cases and if you wonder why you (may) need SharePoint you should read this book. All of the questions are answered and in combination with basic technical administration tasks you will not only get an understanding of how to do it… you will also know why to do it.

This review is about my favorite free eBook download for building a computer. This eBook is a step-by-step tutorial that shows even the most novice of computer builders how to build their first computer.
